At the invitation of the government of the Republic of China (Taiwan), Chief Mgwagwa Gamedze, Minister of Justice and Constitutional Affairs from the Kingdom of Swaziland will visit Taiwan from March 4 to 8, 2013, accompanied by Mr. Thembinkosi L. Mamba, Principal Secretary of Justice and Constitutional Affairs, and Mr. Nkosinathi M. Maseko, Director of Public Prosecutions.
Minister Gamedze and his delegation will call on Mrs. Jiin-fang Lin, Secretary General of Judicial Yuan and Hon. Yung-Fu Tseng, Minister of Justice. As well, they will call at Supreme Prosecutors Office, Taiwan High Court, Bureau of Investigation of Ministry of Justice, Taipei Prison and Taipei Juvenile Detention House. Meanwhile, they will also visit NanKang Software Park, National Palace Museum and Taipei 101, and other cultural sites. The Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mr. Simon Shen-Yeaw Ko, will host a luncheon in honor of the delegation.
It’s the first time visit to Taiwan of Minister Gamedze as the Swazi supreme judicial official. This trip will provide the delegation with opportunities to share the experiences of judicial reform and discuss the issues of bilateral cooperation with our related Government Agencies. (E)
