Attracting foreign investment is one of the important tasks of economic diplomacy. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and its missions abroad also promote Taiwan’s foreign trade by helping Taiwanese enterprises explore business opportunities abroad and hosting and participating in international trade events. MOFA has also been organizing economic and trade delegations to travel abroad, assisting Taiwan’s small and medium-sized enterprises to gain a foothold in emerging markets, and promoting the New Southbound Policy and the Six Core Strategic Industries, thereby attracting foreign investment and encouraging our enterprises to reinvest in Taiwan.
