Former United States Secretary of Defense Dr. William J. Perry gives a speech “My Journey at the Nuclear Brink” at IDIA on March 24, 2017. IDIA President Anne Hung hosts the event which attracts about 130 participants including senior delegates such as former Vice President of ROC Ms. Annette Lu and scholars and students of international relations in the area. The speech is followed by a discussion by Dr. Perry and Dr. Thomas Fingar, Freeman Spogli Institute for International Studies, Stanford University, and a Q&A session.
