Foreign Minister Dr. Joseph Wu meets with MOFA’s newly recruited diplomatic personnel (G51) at the Institute of Diplomacy and International Affairs (IDIA).

Foreign Minister Dr. Joseph Wu meets with the newly recruited diplomatic personnel (G51) at the Institute of Diplomacy and International Affairs (IDIA) on May 9, 2018.  He encourages the  diplomats-to-be to continue to enhance their professional ability, enrich themselves and be creative in their future work.

Foreign Minister Wu answers questions about Taiwan-US relations, Indo-Pacific strategy, the New Southbound Policy, promoting trade and investment, and digital diplomacy, etc. He also urges the new recruits to think outside the box, while developing coordination and communication skills.
