The “2017 Ni-Hao Taiwan Study Camp for Future Leaders: Asia Pacific” was held from September 20 to 29, 2017. A total of 53 young leaders from 14 countries in the Asia-Pacific region participated in this program. The participants were introduced to basic Mandarin, Taiwan’s traditional customs and culture, as well as its economic, environmental and foreign policies through a variety of orientation and introductory courses at the Institute of Diplomacy and International Affairs, Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Various visits and field trips were also organized to enhance their understanding of Taiwan.
