Foreign Minister Dr. David Tawei Lee hosts the Opening Ceremony for the Newly Recruited Diplomatic and Administrative Personnel Training Program at the Institute of Diplomacy and International Affairs (IDIA) on January 22, 2018. Minister Lee encourages all new recruits to rise to future challenges by staying humble and being lifelong learners.
The ceremony was also graced with the presence of Ms. Pei-chih Hao, Political Deputy Minister of the Civil Service Protection and Training Commission, Examination Yuan, and Mr. Roy Y. R. Leu, Vice Minister of the Overseas Community Affairs Council. Both of the distinguished guests also call on the new recruits to cultivate their diplomatic skills to the fullest of their potential, and strive to carry out their duties as civil servants to the best of their ability upon the completion of their training.
