為推動我國參加聯合國公約、組織及其所屬機構以擴大國際活動與發展空間，外交部協助台灣國際法學會持續出版專書期刊，並鼓勵各界投稿研討國際法的最新發展、新興議題或是表達個人的看法或評論。
外交部為落實我國促進保障人權政策，鼓勵撰文協助實踐及推動聯合國消除對婦女一切形式歧視公約、公民與政治權利國際公約、經濟社會文化權利國際公約、兒童權利公約、身心障礙者權利公約等國際人權公約等，作為與各國法學界國際交流之基礎。
