As of 11 AM on February 7, the status of foreigners admitted to hospitals following the 0206 Hualien Earthquake was as follows:
  1. Mennonite Christian Hospital: One Japanese national with an injury to the lower back was expected to be discharged before midday; the nationalities of three other foreigners who had sustained minor injuries were yet to be confirmed.
  2. Hualien Tzu Chi General Hospital: Seven Japanese nationals treated for dust inhalation had been discharged at 6:30 AM; one Philippine national had already been discharged.
  3. Hualien Armed Forces General Hospital: Two Czech Republic nationals had been admitted, one with minor injuries, the other with no obvious signs of external injury.
  4. Hua-Lien Hospital: One Japanese national had already been discharged.
  5. Emergency shelter and response center at Hualien County Stadium: Two Singaporean nationals had been admitted; 13 Korean tourists, one with an injury to the foot, had already been discharged.
  6. Reports also indicate that a Korean woman rescued from the Yun Men Tsui Ti building had been admitted to a hospital for observation.
